Greetings, good gentles! Welcome to the Shire of Fire Mountain Keep website.

We are mundanely located in Lewis County, Washington, which is midway between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA and 25 minutes south of Olympia.

Among our merchants this year will be a food vendor, Dragon's Feast. Items on the menu include: Chicken Korma Wrap, Tofu Korma Wrap, Chicken Korma Rice Bowl, Tofu Korma Rice Bowl, Bratwurst on a Bun, Polish on a Bun, Hot Dog on a Bun, Clam Chowder, Beef Vegetable Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, Dragon's Pouch Salad, Nachos with Cheese. Breakfast items include: Pancakes, Eggs, Fresh Sausage Gravy,Hashbrowns, Grilled English Muffin, Orange Juice, Assorted Danish or Muffins, assorted beverages and other snacks.

Site opens at 3 pm, Friday, August 15 and closes Sunday, August 17 at 5 pm. Merchants may enter at noon on Friday. No merchant fee. Donation to prize chest requested. Site fee: Adults 16 & up $8; youth 7-15 $5; children under 7 free. NMS charge aplies; bring membership cards. Make checks payable to: SCA, Inc - Fire Mountain Keep.
Be sure your under 18 guests have a waiver and medical waiver signed by their parents.
Animals brought on site are the owner's responsibility. Pets must be leashed; all waste to be cleaned up by owner.
Fires according to site owner's wishes. Expect fires to be a minimum of 18 inches off the ground (enclosed) if allowed. Please bring appropriate fire containing/prevention tools.
All mundane and kindom laws STRONGLY in effect. Drugs, underage drinking and related problems not tolerated.
There is limited water on site.

Directions: Take I-5 to exit 77 in Chehalis, WA. Turn west onto Hwy 6 toward Pe Ell; go approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Hwy 603. Go up hill. At approximately 1.7 miles turn right onto Nix Rd. Go to the end of the road and follow one-way road to site.

Fire Mountain Keep Business Meeting

The Fire Mountain Keep business meeting will be held at the Public Utilities District (PUD) building at 321 NW Pacific in Chehalis. The meetings are still the 2nd Sunday of each month. Meeting time is 6 PM.

Directions: From the freeway:
Take exit 77. Proceed East on Main to NW Pacific (Courthouse) where you will turn left. The PUD building is a couple blocks down on the left.

From Market Blvd: Turn left onto Main - turn Right onto NW Pacific (Courthouse).


Event copies, letters, etc. you want printed in the "Mountain's Call" must be received by the 20th of the month prior to when you wish it published. (i.e., if you have a July event to publish, I need it by June 20.) "The Mountain's Call" is a monthly publication of the Shire of Fire Mountain Keep, SCA, Inc. It is not a corporate publication of the Society for Creative Anachronism, nor does it delineate its policies.
